Smoky Quartz is a variety of quartz that ranges from a lightly tinted grey to a deep dark black.

It is well known to be an excellent tool for powerful shielding, protecting, grounding (which helps the flow of higher awareness come in and be accepted with more ease). Also for detoxing energies, letting go of tension, negative patterns and energies. When I’m in empath energetic overload, or physical and emotional discomfort overload, this is one of my tops to reach for. It can transform and transmute heavy negative emotions & blockages (as well as those generated from anger & resentment) & clear a path to allow positive & healing energies to come in. It tends to have a more slow & gentle effect, but efficient. I don’t know about you but I usually need gentle!
