Collection: Agate!

Agate is a variety of chalcedony or microcrystaline quartz. It’s available in a wide array of colors and features based on chemical changes or impurities as the stone was forming. 

It’s a very balancing (yin-yang, physical/emotional/ intellectual to the etheric), stabilizing and grounding stone on all these levels. It’s ability to help ground & stabilize energy helps it to have a calming and soothing vibe, as well as eliminate and/or transform negativity.

In it’s multiple layers it may help us see & bring to the surface hidden things, or the root of things. A good crystal to have when examining oneself, surroundings, & situations when looking for the next step in the journey of wellness or improvement.

A stone that loves to encourage the truth, it may help inspire you to KNOW & speak your truth, accept yourself, and give you a big ole boost of confidence to stand tall in it. Also good for emotional wound and trauma healing, providing a safe stable energy. Especially when placed up on the heart to encourage healing on the emotional level, & to help us to allow more love in.

Agate may aid in improving strong concentration, stimulate analytical abilities, perception, and problem solving.

It can help you awaken your talents & skills that you maybe didn’t even know you had and connect you with entities & energies of the spiritual worlds & the collective consciousness.

It is a slower working stone in most cases, but works very well with it’s gentle energy and has excellent long term energy healing love for you.

Helpful for issues with digestion (place on abdomen) & gastritis, strengthening sight & the eyes, healing of the stomach, uterus, & skin. Strengthens blood vessels & is cleansing for the pancreas & lymphatic system.

Usually, because there are so many varieties of agate, additional properties will apply (as well as best chakras to use with) & be determined by the type of agate.

Crazy Lace Agate /Mexican Lace Agate - This type of agate has inclusions of aluminum & iron, & shows off hypnotizing lace and paisley patterns, usually including some of the colors of red, white, grey, brown, black, and yellow. Other colors may be present too!  Lace agate is excellent to help bring balance, strength, and steadiness to the physical body, especially when currently in a “lower” physical state. May help us to understand the perfection that we can be, and the steps and paths available to us to reach the heights of awareness. It’s a soother, calmer, grounder, but also & very uplifting and happy stone! It’s especially clearing & uplifting out of the agates, helping one to laugh & find joy in what’s around us. Also excellent for inspiring creativity and getting in the flow of creation states.

Lace agate has been used to provide vitality to the vital organs, and also used in healing of the heart.

It feels to vibe and work well especially with the sacral & solar plexus chakras, I feel root for this one too.

Flower (Plume)  Agate - This recent plume agate find is from Madagascar gets it’s name from beautiful 3-D chalcedony “flower” patterns inside of the agate stone. It’s so beautiful that you can almost see little “seeds” and then the “flowers” in the stone. It’s easy to say that this one holds a beautiful energy of encouragement and growth. It’s a sweet friend to support you with positive energy as you let your branches grow, transform, & re-birth into the greatest potential that you are and to go for your dreams. Also helps with a deep state of meditation & uninhibited mind. Flower agate is a wonderful stone to work with when healing the emotional body & past trauma. It works as a nurturer and an energy that aids to help us release past trauma and emotions stuck in the body, by bringing it to your attention. It’s also helpful that, this stone has such supportive energy, that helps us beam away self-doubt, fear, and thought patterns that hold us back, for when these rise to the surface. One can meditate with this stone (maybe on your heart is best, but more so wherever YOUR intuition tells you) and ask to bring attention to where emotion / trauma is and what it needs. Please do make sure you have support in place when doing deep emotional healing! As I write this, on my healing journey this year I have been working with someone to help release past trauma and always have my flower agate with me. 

It is a stone of dreaming and growing, reminding you who you are, your purpose, and who you want to grow to be. It is time! Go for those dreams! Grow! Heal! Moss Agate- Moss agate has green & mossy or foilage looking inclusions. It’s very connected to nature, (especially the plant and mineral world), nature spirits. It’s energy is encouraging for plants to grow & flourish. Definitely a good one for people working with plants, agricultural pursuits, earth healing, or connected to green earthy nature. It encourages us to see the beauty all around us in our lives.

A Stone of wealth, abundance, and new beginnings! 

Said to be a great stone for midwives and assisting with their work, as well as birthing in other ways like new beginnings & releasing blockages (especially spiritual ones, helping to break free of what’s holding us back), and starting again in the places we have left “still”.

A great one to balance the intuitive/intellectual, giving a boost on whichever side you could use assistance with. Helpful with boosting self-esteem, balancing the emotional body & strengthening positive personality traits, lessening/releasing stress & fears, encouraging hope & ones dreams as well as an optimistic state. A very good aid to have while battling depression & working through the mind & brain to heal. Especially in the cases where there is a left-right brain imbalance.

It’s a great stone to have while recovering, as it likes to help move the process of healing faster. Cleansing & detoxifying for the elimination and circulation systems. Helps to relieve symptoms from colds, flu, internal infections, lower fevers, swelling of lymph nodes, healing of the eyes, and brings in anti-inflammatory energy. 

A heart chakra stone! I can also feel this as an earth star as well.
